Martin began working in TV in 1997 when he started as a camera assistant at BBC Television centre. Since then he has gone on to work on Doctor Who and Versailles (as a Mentee Director), and Directed Doctors (BBC), Hollyoaks (C4), Spooks Code 9, and Spooks Interactive, which won a BAFTA and was nominated for an EMMY.
He directed the feature length live music film This Happened starring Claudia Brucken, as well as several BBC Pilots and many shows as a camera operator/assistant, including East Enders, Robot Wars & Big Brother.
Martin has worked in Live TV at Reading Festival 1998-2003, as well as Wimbledon, live music events, and motor racing.
